Đầu tiên cho quỳ tím vào thì NaOH và Ba(OH)2 hóa xanh còn HCl và H2SO4 hóa đỏ. Nên sẽ nhận biết được MgCl2 không hiện tượng.
Tiếp theo cho NaSO4 vào 2 lọ hóa xanh, lọ nào kết tủa trắng là Ba(OH)2. NaOH không hiện tượng.
và cuối cùng cho BaCl2 vào hai lọ hóa đỏ, Lọ nào kết tủa trắng là H2SO4. HCl không hiện tượng.
